Our President David Gibson, PE brings a unique combination of skills and experience to this challenge - including extensive experience in facilities design & construction, large industrial facility operations, utility energy efficiency programs, rural electric cooperative operations, community revitalization, and economic development.

Through his facility design and construction experience, David understands what is needed to get a new project off the ground from site acquisition and permitting all the way to commissioning and startup.

Former clients include large industrials including Kraft, Pepsico, Hersheys, and Archer Daniels Midland - he understands what resources these facilities need from communities in terms of schools, cost of living, and utilities - and what economic benefits these projects can offer in job creation and workforce development.

David has worked in the design, management, and implementation of utility energy efficiency programs, he is well versed in the infrastructure requirements, rate structures, and regulatory constraints facing investor owned utilities, rural electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, retail electric suppliers, and generation & transmission providers.

With years of rural electrification experience with NRECA International, David intimately understands the unique role that rural electric cooperatives play as part of the foundation of the communities they serve and the challenges that they face in providing power to rural areas. One of his proudest accomplishments is the development of a Ugandan Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives which is based on the statewide association model used in the USA.

David’s experience has also instilled a passion and commitment to community revitalization and economic development throughout our team. Whether we are working on a remote, rural project in the Mountain West; a mainstreet revitalization project in the Heartland, or a formerly industrialized site in the Rust Belt - we understand what success looks like for communities, companies, and local utilities across the country.
